Content:
Presentation of the results of desk and field research about the
possibility of creating a database with short term vocational
trainings, including work experience placements. Also new projects
will be developed regarding partnerships, students mobility IVT and
teacher mobility VETPRO. Organisation / partners: Grasep,
Efxinoupolis, Greece; IES Condesa Eylo Alfonso, Valladolid, Spaind
and Eurolinks, Markelo, The Netherlands.

Gene
technology in education

The seminar's
intention is to offer a practical course of gene technology (cloning
experiments in the laboratory) and to promote the teaching method SOL
(Self Organized Learning—or Self Determined Learning).
Additionally, it provides the opportunity to discuss and evaluate
different ethical opinions and thus strengthen the European
collaboration among teachers.
Journey,
accommodation and subsistence can be funded by the EU via the
programme “Comenius/Grundtvig”. The seminar’s
reference number in the Comenius/Grundtvik data base http://ec.europa.eu/education/trainingdatabase/search.cfm
is DE-2010-1024-001. The seminar will be held in English. The
deadline for application at the national agency is 30th of April. -more

as catalyst for innovation" is an experiential course in
international company aiming at strengthening students/pupils/adults
self-confidence and promoting their personal fulfilment by developing
their cultural awareness and capacity for creative expression, using
artistic education to provide learning opportunities to marginalised
and disadvantaged (citizens) and exploring the role of creative
activities in the learning process and their impact on people's
capacities for innovation. The deadline for application at the

The White
paper on Intercultural Dialogue is a key for the future of Europe and
it is a necessity to learn cultural diversity as an essential
component for today’s Europe.It is also a necessity to propose a
democratic management of this diversity which makes it possible to
live in a dynamic and open society.Our European future depends on our
capacity to protect and develop the human rights according to the
European Convention of Human rights and on our capacity to propose an
intercultural step. The White paper proposes tools to familiarize the
society with the democratic processes. This White paper helps the
citizens building partnerships to arrive at a pluralist society. It
makes every citizen desire to imply himself directly in the
decision-making processes. It is an invitation to work for better
social cohesion. And finally, it addresses itself to the teachers,
who will find in the document many elements to set up a pedagogic
approach to human rights and an education on the democratic citizenship.
